Family Support
Hello my name is Jodie Owen, and I am the Family Support Worker at Blue Bell Hill Primary.
I have had the privilege of working at Blue Bell Hill for 15 years and also lived in St. Anns and attended Blue Bell Hill as a child. I am a mum of two young boys and understand the challenges that parenthood can bring. I have many life experiences under my belt, I can relate and empathise with life's chaotic challenges.
At BBH we value our relationships with our families and community; it is important that we not only look after our pupils but are here to also support our families too. I am able to offer support to the whole family through guidance, advice and signposting to services that can further support and advise. I can help by supporting families regarding sleep, health, finances, behaviour or issues at home.
I can offer advice or just a listening ear and a cup of tea, whatever you feel is needed. My door is always open.
I understand asking for help can be daunting, but there is no judgement at BBH and no concern is considered too trivial. We strongly believe that early help can prevent concerns developing and that having a supportive community through school is key to this.
Just pop to the office and ask for Jodie, call the school on 01159151161 Extention 5 or email Familysupport@bluebellhill.org.uk.
